I live in Bristol, Cheddar Gorge (see photo) is the big favourite, even though the dreaded Avon Gorge is 10 minutes from the house).My in-laws live in St Margaret's Hope, so I tend to be up about once a year. 'Twould be great to meet some time and try the delights of Orcadian rock. Best wishes, Steve

I forgot to say: I'm good for VS-E1 on trad 6b/c on bolts, and I shall be bringing my leader's rack, so if anybody wants a leader, I'm on!

Hello Orkney Climbing Club!

I shall be cruising up on the motorbike from Bristol this weekend for a couple of weeks in St Margaret's Hope (family already installed), and would love to meet up for some climbing if anybody wants a belay buddy.

It's a bit lame but I'd love to tick the sport routes at Yesnaby Quarry, as I bagged a few of of them on a shunt when I was last up.
